So after 4 hours of traveling in a vehicle with Bailey, and her Grandparents, I am finally in Kincardine. Well.. I came yesterday. I'm staying in a ladies house who is not here at the moment, she's at a winery in Pennsylvania with her husband. They have 2 cats, both of which we do not know their names, and we have renamed them Jenny(anydots) and Mistofelees. It should be interesting when they get back, seeing as they will have found out that we've renamed their cats as CATS characters, Bailey is jizzing about the wild amount of guitars they have in this house, and we will have lived in their house for about a week with out them here. WEIRD, but this place already feels like home. I'm also LOVING Kincardine. The town is SO friendly. Almost too friendly. They have a parade every Saturday night at 8, the band starts them off (its a highland band BTW. This town is very in touch with its Scottish roots.) and then the town joins in. The WHOLE TOWN follows in this parade, except for the people who are too old or too young to, and everyone else just watches waving. It was so crazy! Its also said that if you walk in the parade you're destined to come back to Kincardine. So I walked it, and I'm coming back next week. The town reminds me of the little towns in Nova Scotia, which made me miss it so much. The maritimes are my FAVOURITE places in Canada, or the world since I've never been anywhere else. Anyway, there's a lighthouse just down the hill and everything. There's also a coffee shop called the Book and Bean. Its cute, and crazy homey. You walk in and sit down and you don't feel like you're in a coffee shop, you feel like you're in someone's house. Super awkward at first, but you get used to it.
ANYWAY.
Showertime.
Then out and about.
p.s We've located a bubble tea shop, AND a tattoo parlor. By the end of this week we shall have bought something from each of these places a few times. ;)
